Raymond J. Peterson
Raymond Peterson is a native of Duluth and a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and Hamline University Law School. He practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, nursing home planning/long term care planning, real estate, business planning and corporate/partnership law. Ray has been named a “Rising Star” by Minnesota Law & Politics in 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2012.
Ray has a special interest in family cabin succession planning, both personal and professional. He is part of a “family cabin” and has presented to many groups across Minnesota about family cabin succession planning.
Organizations & Memberships
Ray is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, and Wisconsin State Bar Association. In addition, Ray is a member of the Arrowhead Estate Planning Council.
In the community, he has been an active member of several non-profit boards including the Duluth Childern’s Museum and other scholarship foundations. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, especially his wife, Sara, and children, Cate and Kyle.
